What is Packola?
Packola is a travel companion that bundles weather, local intel and a personalized packing list into one app. You pick a place, tell us what you'll be doing, and we tailor the trip plan to you — no guidebooks, no spreadsheets, no overpacking.
Is it free?
Yes — Packola is free to download and use. No ads, no trial. We may add an optional Pro tier later for power features, but the core experience stays free.
Does it work offline?
Saved trips, your packing list and local intel are cached on-device, so you can open them on a plane or in a tunnel. Live weather refreshes when you're online — we use the last known forecast otherwise, clearly labeled.
How accurate is the weather?
We cross-check three providers — WeatherKit, OpenWeatherMap and Open-Meteo — and surface the consensus. For trips beyond the 14-day forecast window, we fall back to historical climate data so you can still pack with confidence.
What activities can I plan for?
Street food, fine dining, beach, culture, bar, adventure, hiking, winter sports, spa, nature, shopping, photography, cycling, diving, camping, fitness — and a few more. Mix and match; Packola tailors the list to whatever you pick.
Which cities are supported?
